Account Setup Process:

[Step 1: Verification of Your e-mail Account]

• We will send an email for e-mail address verification.
• Please check your email inbox for a message from Kyodai Remittance. Open the link using “Kyodai App”.

[Step 2: Customer Registration]

• Register as a sender and provide a photo of your residence card (for foreign nationals) and My Number card, along with uploading neutral and randomly designated expression selfies through the App.

[Step 3: Beneficiary Registration]

• Enter your beneficiary’s details.
• Choose between bank account credit or cash pick-up at a nearby payout location for the beneficiary. Consult with your beneficiary to decide on the most suitable payment method.

[Step 4: Verification by Kyodai]

• Upon data verification, Kyodai will approve your new membership and welcome you aboard.

[Step 5: Log in as New Member]

• Upon approval, log in to the Kyodai App to access the current FX rate and an estimator tool.
• Avoid unnecessary edits to registered data, as each change prompts a verification process by Kyodai, causing delays.

[Step 6: Pre-advice of Wire Transfer / Denshin Furikomi]

• You can now wire transfer funds (Denshin Furikomi) to Kyodai’s designated bank account at Japanese banks.
• Initiate the furikomi payment and provide all relevant details through the Kyodai App, such as amount, timestamp, originating bank, etc., ensuring the payment is under your name only.
